Announcing the Master Scholars of Ursuline Academy Endowed Scholarship

Dear Friend of Ursuline Academy,

We’re reaching out to honor and celebrate our dear friend, Mr. Joseph “Joe” Master, through this newly established Master Scholars of Ursuline Academy Endowed Scholarship.

For more than 35 years, Mr. Master poured his heart into Ursuline Academy. He had a gift for seeing potential in every student and gently, but persistently, challenging them to grow. His classroom was a place where literature came alive, where meaningful discussion was encouraged, and where every student’s voice truly mattered.

Mr. Master’s dedication extended far beyond the classroom. He lovingly authored Ursuline Academy’s 150th Anniversary History book, preserving the school’s story for future generations. He enthusiastically participated in student travel experiences and built lasting global connections through a shared literature project with the Ursuline sister school, Brescia House in South Africa.

This scholarship was established by an anonymous donor and cherished friend of Mr. Master to continue his legacy by supporting students who demonstrate financial need, academic promise, and genuine commitment to Serviam. 

As friends of Mr. Master, we are honored to announce this scholarship and invite you to join us in celebrating his legacy while supporting future Ursuline students. Right now, you can double the impact of the Master Scholars of Ursuline Academy, and donations to the scholarship will be matched, up to $75,000. Your support will allow even more students access to the kind of Ursuline education Mr. Master believed in so deeply.
