On behalf of the Ursuline Academy community, thank you for investing in our students and helping us champion the teachings of St. Angela. Your support allows us to meet the needs of the present while growing and planning for the future.

There are many ways to show your support for Ursuline Academy including:

  • Becoming an Annual Sponsorship Partner
  • Supporting the students of today with a gift to The Ursuline Fund
  • Support our largest annual fundraising event, UA Soirée Annual Dinner Auction
  • Plan for the future and include Ursuline Academy in your planned giving
  • Make a gift through a donation of stock
  • Double your impact by matching your gift through your or your spouse’s employer
  • Attend an upcoming event
  • Volunteer and give back through a gift of time and talent

For questions about these opportunities, please contact the Advancement Team.

Ursuline Academy is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. For tax references, our Federal Tax ID is 43-1653427.

Annual Partnership Program

Our Annual Partnership Program allows community members to support Ursuline's three largest fundraising events and our annual giving program The Ursuline Fund through one donation. In the 2023-2024 school year, Ursuline educated almost 400 young women, with 55% receiving academic scholarships and financial aid awards. Thanks to the Annual Partnerships Program, Ursuline was able to provide greater financial assistance and enhance academic support.

Your support would not only allow us to continue to provide a strong future for our students but is a great opportunity for you and/or your business to receive valuable exposure to over 6,000 Ursuline community members throughout the year and at our largest community-wide events.

For more information or details, please contact Devin Hallahan Mueller ’98, Annual Giving Coordinator, at 314-984-2811 or dmueller@ursulinestl.org.

The Ursuline Fund

The Ursuline Fund assists with the school's greatest and most immediate needs each year. As you may know, tuition and fees only cover about 80% of the cost of educating an Ursuline student. To cover the remaining amount, known as the “tuition gap,” we rely on the philanthropic support of donors, like you. Your partnership allows our students to access resources that enrich their learning opportunities here at Ursuline Academy. With your loyalty to The Ursuline Fund, the school can meet the needs of the present while growing and planning for the future.

For more information or details, please contact Devin Hallahan Mueller ’98, Annual Giving Coordinator, at 314-984-2811 or dmueller@ursulinestl.org.

UA Soirée Annual Dinner Auction

Planned Giving

Ursuline Academy has an excellent and comprehensive Planned Giving Program for alumnae, families, and friends who want to help secure the long-term future of our school by utilizing gifting strategies that will benefit both the school and themselves. Planned gifts often consist of gifts of assets rather than checks or cash. Those who include Ursuline Academy in their long-term planning that endures beyond their own lifetime are recognized and honored in The Heritage Society

For more information or details, please contact Allison Oberkirsch, Director of Advancement, at 314-984-2814 or aoberkirsch@ursulinestl.org.

Stock Donations

Most gifts of appreciated securities that have been held long-term are fully deductible at fair market value, and the donor does not incur a tax on unrealized capital gain. Your financial institution will need the following information to make the transfer:

Due to the increased privacy regulations set forth by FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), which oversees financial institutions transferring proposed donations, Ursuline Academy may not be able to obtain specific donor information associated with the assets that arrive in our account.

To avoid this issue, please notify Ursuline Academy’s Director of Advancement Allison Oberkirsch at 314-984-2814 or aoberkirsch@ursulinestl.org of the specific securities donation details you have initiated.

Matching Gifts

Double your impact by matching your gift through your employer! Many companies will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your employer offers a matching gift program check our matching gift company list or contact your human resources department. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

WHY DO I GIVE?

"

Our parents sacrificed to give us the gift of quality Catholic education, for which we're grateful.  Having benefitted from their foresight, we felt it was important to provide a similar foundation and experience for our own daughters.  We support Ursuline so UA can continue educating and forming our daughter, as well as many others, to become unique, caring young women, confident in their abilities and potential.

"

We support UA because UA has supported us.  Over the course of our three daughters' education, there have been times when we've needed UA to help us, above and beyond what a typical student might require.  UA, through it's teachers, coaches and administrators, has done everything it can to make sure our daughters had the best chance to succeed and enjoy a rewarding high school experience.  UA is like family.  They've always supported us and we're pleased to support them.
