We are thrilled to announce that the Ursuline Academy Bearbotics team had an exceptional showing at the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) St. Louis regional event this past weekend, securing a phenomenal 2nd place overall finish!

The team’s robot demonstrated incredible consistency and skill throughout the challenging competition. After an intense series of qualification matches against top teams from across the region, the Bearbotics robot earned the highly coveted 2nd place ranking going into the final elimination rounds.

This momentum continued into the finals, where the team’s strong performance, collaboration, and strategic execution led them to ultimately claim the 2nd place award in the entire regional competition — the only all-girls Catholic school to do so!

Autonomous Achievement Award

In addition to their outstanding overall ranking, the Ursuline Bearbotics team received a special award recognizing the excellence of their autonomous routine. This award celebrates the 20-second portion at the beginning of every match where the robot must operate solely on pre-programmed code, without any human interaction or control. This accomplishment is a true testament to the programming and engineering expertise of the Bearbotics students who meticulously designed and coded the robot’s complex independent movements.

Congratulations once again to every member of the Ursuline Academy Bearbotics team on this remarkable achievement!
