International Serviam Day

Join us for our annual International Seriam Day on Saturday, January 24, 2026. As we live out our motto of Serviam, we must continue to “cultivate this vine” entrusted to us, as St. Angela instructed us to do. St Angela Merici’s feast day is celebrated on January 27. 

This is an opportunity for all Ursuline community members, including students, alumnae, parents, grandparents, coworkers, Sisters, and collaborators, to come together with our fellow worldwide Ursuline communities to volunteer in the local community and continue to answer the call to serve others.  

Many Ursuline schools will also be participating in service projects around the United States and in many other countries as we continue to be united in one heart in service.  Our Sister school, Ursuline Academy in Dallas, began this tradition, and we are grateful to see how it has grown greatly. All are welcome to join in our St. Louis area efforts. 

St. Louis 2026 International Serviam Day Opportunities

1.  New Blanket Drive for St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Purchase from Amazon Wish List or a retailer of your choice and have it sent to UA.  Drop off in the Main Office of Ursuline during school hours, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., January 5 through January 23, 2026.
2. Volunteering in person at the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank,  packing period product “flow kits” and diaper packs for women in need.  Limited spots are available for participation at their location from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026. You are welcome to drop off donations of diapers and period products at the main office at Ursuline during school hours, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from January 5 to 3:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026.
3. A group will be at St. Peter’s Catholic School Cafeteria to make sandwiches for St. Vincent DePaul, make holiday cards for Ursuline Sisters, Mother of Perpetual Help Residents, and area veterans from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026. This is a great opportunity for families to serve together, including school-aged children.
4. Shelf-stable foods will also be collected in the main office at Ursuline during school hours, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., from January 5 to 12:00 p.m. on January 23, 2026, to support the students’ efforts to restock local food pantries.
