Congratulations to our Varsity Soccer team, who on Thursday, May 20, won their District Championship game against MICDS in a nail-biting 1-0 double-overtime victory. The team has had a strong season this year, going into the District games with a record 8-6-1, and though they were the top seed in the Class 2 District tournament, they kept up their defense and teamwork to bring home the win.
Prior to securing the District Championship, the Bears swept their qualifying game against Affton High School, winning 9-1. The first game lit a fire under the team to keep pushing and proved to be critical in their hustle ultimately for their win over MICDS. Up next the team will play in the Quarterfinal game between Perryville on Saturday, May 29 at 10:00 a.m. The game will be played at:
