Summer Reading

Each student attending Ursuline Academy is required to read during the summer in preparation for her classes the following year.

We have compiled a summer reading list encompassing all genres–the novel, poetry, drama and the biography–to accommodate many tastes and reading abilities.

Each student must select one book from a grade-specific list designed to highlight particular areas to be covered in the class.  The student will be held accountable for her reading in the form of a written essay or project on the text chosen from the list.  The assignment will be completed in the first two weeks of the fall semester.
