Girls School Unite ... We're Stronger Together!
Tuesday, May 6 - Thursday, May 8, 2025

Each year, we participate in a friendly competition against our fellow St. Louis rivals. During the three day challenge of Girls Schools Unite, these eight rivalries come together for a unifying purpose - to raise awareness and funds to support all girl, Catholic education. All alumnae donations to The Ursuline Fund between May 6 and May 8 count towards this alumnae participation challenge.

Alumnae, we are stronger together and need your help! Every gift makes a difference and supports our current and future Ursuline students. The school with the highest self-reported percentage of alumnae participating will be declared the winner of Girls Schools Unite.

In 2024, Ursuline came in 5th place at nearly 5% alumnae participation. That means that in just three days, 358 alumnae made gifts totaling over $17,300. We hope you will help us climb the ranks and increase our alumnae participation this year!

What does my gift to GSU support?

Gifts made during the Girls Schools Unite (GSU) challenge support our students through The Ursuline Fund, which helps with Ursuline's greatest, most immediate needs.

Not only does The Ursuline Fund provide operational, day-to-day support of our students' needs, but it also assists with projects around the school. This year, your generosity will assist with covering the costs of the insurance deductible for hail damage on campus, the Legacy Wall in Merici, conversion of the old dance room (or old gym/auditorium) to the new Bearbotics space, and renovations to some classroom spaces due to our growing community.

Can I only make a gift between May 6 and May 8 to be counted in GSU?

The Girls Schools Unite competition will run from Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 12:00 a.m. until Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 11:59 p.m., and only gifts made to The Ursuline Fund during this time period will count towards the total alumnae giving percentage. Gifts made before or after this time period will not count, neither will pledges or previous pledge payments.

All gifts need to be made to The Ursuline Fund. Major gifts, scholarships, endowments, event-funded gifts, or other campaigns are not included in the challenge.

And this is strictly an alumnae competition! Only alumnae who make a gift will be counted towards the participation percentage.
