Ursuline students grow spiritually while embracing the Academy's motto of Serviam through community service.
Ursuline faculty are talented individuals who care about each student and assist them in realizing their individual academic potential.
From the first day you walk through the door, you find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone - students and teachers - are eager to help you learn and grow.
Ursuline Academy is a place designed especially for girls and the way they learn. Studies show that girls find it easier to excel and become more confident learners in an all-girl setting. It's a more comfortable environment that encourages girls to speak up in class, to express their opinions, and to take initiative in everything from academics to the arts to athletics. At Ursuline, every girl is an achiever in her own way. Girls start clubs, plan service projects, play on sports teams, and hold all of the leadership positions. The all-girl environment creates a special, sister-like bond among students and a strong sense of community. From the first day a girl walks through the door, she finds a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone – students and teachers – is eager to help you learn, grow, and succeed in taking on any challenge. Find out what the research shows about the benefits of an all-girl education.
The best way to get to know Ursuline is to spend a day with us. Personal campus visits can be scheduled by phone or by clicking below. Come and experience our community, classes and campus - and begin discovering the power within U!

Tuition & Financial Aid
Tuition & Fees
Ursuline Academy’s tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year has been set for $15,500 with a standard fee of $375 and a technology fee of $200. Ursuline Academy students have a choice to bring their own laptop or use an Ursuline-provided laptop. Please see the Technology Information Sheet below for details. The laptop fee of $250 will be assessed to students choosing an Ursuline Academy-provided laptop. 2019-2020 Technology Information Sheet
Tuition covers a portion of the costs of teaching services to facilitate the physical, spiritual, and mental growth and development of students in a safe and wholesome environment. For the 2019-2020 school year, the actual cost of educating an Ursuline student is $18,925. The gap between the actual cost of education and tuition is $2,850. This difference is made up with charitable gifts to the Ursuline Fund by parents, grandparents and friends as well as our annual fundraising events.
Ursuline Academy partners with Smart Tuition for the processing and collection of our families’ tuition and fees. This partnership with Smart Tuition allows for a confidential system where families can see for themselves a complete report of their tuition account. Details such as tuition billing, financial assistance, laptop fee, tuition GAP donations and elective fees are posted directly to family accounts. A secure login ID enables parents to view this information at any time of the day.

Tuition assistance at Ursuline Academy is based on financial need. This assistance provides part, rather than all of the cost of tuition. Ursuline alumnae provide much of the funding for the program through the generosity of alumnae giving to the Ursuline Fund. Ursuline Academy utilizes an outside source (Smart Aid) for processing financial aid applications.
- You can complete an online application for the 2019-2020 school year by applying directly on the Smart Aid site: https://smartaidforparents.com/
- Ursuline Academy's school code is 13325. There is a $35 processing fee for each application. The financial aid application, the $35 processing fee, and a copy of your tax return must be submitted by March 1, 2019. Click here for Smart Aid online instructions and frequently asked questions.
- Families will be notified of award decisions by the first week of April.
- The K-12 Family Education Loan sponsored by Sallie Mae is available to Ursuline families. Loans are available to pay tuition costs plus a percentage of other school costs. Click here to read more about the Sallie Mae loans.

Missouri 529 MOST Accounts
Catholic school parents may benefit from recent changes to the federal tax code which allows parents to make contributions to a child's Missouri 529 MOST account for K-12 tuition, in addition to expenses for higher education that are already permitted.
The Missouri 529 MOST account is an investment program sponsored by the Missouri State Treasurer's office. Anyone can open a MOST account, including parents, grandparents, or friends of K-12 or college-aged students. Interest earnings on contributions to MOST accounts are not subject to state or federal taxes. Furthermore, qualified distributions from the account (those for higher education expenses, and now K-12 tuition) are also not taxed. Parents can withdraw up to $10,000 annually for private K-12 tuition per student as an eligible distribution from a MOST account.
Funds contributed to a MOST account are deducted from the parent's taxable income. Reducing taxable income, in turn, will reduce the state tax bill parents pay.
