As our Ursuline Academy Class of 2025 have now crossed the stage and graduated, we wanted to celebrate their achievements and matriculations. We are proud to announce the Class of 2025's matriculations, as well as the Senior Awards, honoring all the ways these young women have excelled in living out our Ursuline values.

Academic Honors
Congratulations to Ursuline's 2025 Valedictorian Brooke Tatum and Salutatorian Kelsey Flanagan.

These young women have excelled both in and outside of the classroom, serving as incredible leaders within our school community.

The Spirit of St. Angela Awards
The Spirit of St. Angela awards are presented to two students who, throughout their time at Ursuline, have exemplified the spirit of St. Angela Merici by living out the Ursuline Core Values while contributing to the spirit and positive identity of their class.

Each has demonstrated a commitment to:

  • spiritual formation
  • academic excellence
  • a respect for the uniqueness of each individual
  • the development of the whole person
  • the development of a nurturing community spirit
  • peacemaking
  • and a lived understanding of the Ursuline motto, "I will serve."

One awardee is chosen by the Ursuline coworkers and one by her classmates. They each have the opportunity to address the Ursuline community at their commencement ceremony. Congratulations to Ashley Strauss and Allison Sinak.

The CLC Award
The CLC Award recognizes a member of the graduating class who exemplifies the Ursuline values of Courtesy, Loyalty and Courage. This tradition is carried on at many Ursuline schools throughout North America. Ursuline Academy is proud to recognize Ellia Bartoni as the 2025 honoree.

The Spirit of St. Ursula Award
St. Ursula had such undeviating confidence in God’s plan for her that, even amidst adversity and challenge, she demonstrated courage, perseverance, and a zeal for life. It was these characteristics that inspired St. Angela to name her Company of Women after St. Ursula. With this Spirit of St. Ursula Award, we honor a young woman who embodies these same inspirational qualities. Ursuline Academy is proud to recognize Ellen Williams as the 2025 honoree.

The SHARPE Award
The SHARPE Award was first presented in 1982 to honor three long-time Ursuline teachers, Mrs. Marie Sherman, Mrs. Thelma Hartnett, and Mrs. Jan Peterson. In honor of these three outstanding teachers, the SHARPE Award was created to recognize a student for her independent thinking, creativity, and initiative in scholarship. The faculty and staff vote for the student who best exemplifies these qualities. Ursuline Academy is proud to recognize Clara Deisner as the 2025 honoree.
