Ursuline Academy Alumnae Association

The Alumnae Association represents generations of women empowered to lead Ursuline Academy, guided by tradition. Together with the school, the Board of Directors works to engage alumnae through networking, fundraising events, and strengthening the bonds of friendship that began at Ursuline.

The Alumnae Association has so many ways for you to see Ursuline thriving today, and meet other alumnae and current families. The Alumnae Association Board of Directors relies on the support of many alumnae to make our sisterhood a reality.

There are several upcoming events and projects that will benefit from volunteers. Click the button below to see the current volunteer opportunities.

Ursuline remains important to me because it was super important in building my confidence, and also was the place where I met some of my best friends!

Faith Formation

Ursuline has shaped me into the confident, compassionate, and faith-driven woman that I am. The values of Serviam, sisterhood, and leadership still guide me today. As a proud alumnae, I carry those lessons with me daily and hold the love of Ursuline in my heart! Ursuline gave me so much, and I give back so that future generations can experience the same lasting impact!

Ambassadors/Young Alumnae

Ursuline has helped shape me into the woman I am today. The lifelong friendships, teachers and staff, and overall community of Ursuline is one of a kind. Because of this, I hold UA close to my heart and enjoy staying involved in any way I can.

Ursuline was the foundation for so many different aspects of my life that have made a lasting impact, even up until today: my education, career, personal growth, confidence, and, most importantly, my friendships.

Valuable Connections

I had such a wonderful experience attending UA and walked away with an excellent education, a foundation that prepared me for success in college and beyond, as well as lifelong friends.  I was delighted when my own two daughters chose UA as their school of choice. The UA Legacy continues for our family.

Events

When I think of my time at Ursuline, two words come to mind: community and opportunity. Ursuline provided me with so many opportunities that shaped me into the woman I am today. Student council, athletics, volunteering opportunities, retreats, honor societies…the list goes on and on. Ursuline also brought me a group of strong, courageous, and empowered young women with whom I am proud to be friends to this day! It is an honor to give back to such an amazing community.

Outreach

My 3 daughters Clare, Elizabeth, and Ann Marie graduated in 2011, 2014, and 2022. Even though we spanned many years at Ursuline, my girls shared many of the same teachers. These teachers are why Ursuline remains important to me!

Make a difference through the Ursuline Academy Alumnae Association

Join our efforts as we seek to spread the Ursuline Serviam spirit to each other and the students who follow in our footsteps. We invite you to get involved and share your talents with Ursuline. A great way to get involved is by volunteering on the Board of Directors or one of the Alumnae Association Committees.

If you or an alumna you know would be interested in joining the Alumnae Association Board of Directors or Alumnae Association Committee, please click the button below to complete the nomination form.

Join an Alumnae Association Committee!
There are several Alumnae Association Committees that could benefit from your gift of time and talent.

Ambassadors: Members coordinate and present at bi-annual class representative meetings and oversee the creation of a quarterly newsletter to share Ursuline updates with class reps. These efforts keep alumnae informed, engaged, and connected to the community and in touch with the Alumnae Office.  Members also assist the Alumnae Office with young alumnae events for recent graduates, including Back at UA Day and Never Say Goodbye College Send-off.

Events committee: Members plan and execute community events such as Trivia Night, Breakfast with Santa, and the Easter Egg Hunt, which are sponsored by the Alumnae Association. These events aim to bring together alumnae, families, and supporters for seasonal celebrations while raising money for student scholarships and the Ursuline Fund.

Faith Formation committee: Members plan and execute the Alumnae Reunion Mass and Memorial Mass for the Ursuline community. Additionally, they oversee the organization of the annual International Serviam Day, a partnership with our global Ursuline schools, fostering our life-long spirit of "Serviam."

Outreach committee: Members manage poinsettia delivery stewardship for "golden" alumnae donors and birthday cards to alumnae donors.  They partner with the Advancement office to coordinate alumnae participation in Giving Tuesday and Girls Schools Unite, seeking to reconnect alumnae to our community.

Valuable Connections: Members oversee the ValUAble Connections Facebook Group by monitoring posts, approving content, and maintaining group norms. They offer support, providing professional opportunities to alumnae and students, and join efforts with the Counseling office to host Career Day for students.
