The Administrative Assistant (Principal) supports the Principal and Assistant Principal with needs connected to the daily operations of the Academy.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinating parent-teacher conferences
• Serving as primary contact with Jostens regarding graduation and junior ring supplies
• Overseeing the graduation supplies and orders, including diplomas, announcements, caps and gowns, etc.
• Working with the principal and the assistant principal to coordinate the academic recognition and graduation ceremonies
• Working with the assistant principal to coordinate the awards ceremony 
• Coordinating the L.E.A. program with the coworkers, acts as liaison with L.E.A. (Kirkwood) and records the use of professional development/Title II funding
• Coordinating D.E.S.E. reporting
• Coordinating archdiocesan reporting
• Assisting with the coordination, assembly and distribution of student registration packets
• Collecting, filing and mailing Professional Staff Roster Forms for the archdiocese
• Preparing the Student and Parent Handbook/student planner for publication
• Assisting the assistant principal in creating supervision schedules and other daily schedules 
• Assisting the assistant principal in the maintenance of faculty attendance records and the coordination of substitutes 
• Compiling and emailing summer letters to returning students 
• Compiling and mailing the welcome/summer letter to incoming freshmen
• Assisting students with school identification cards, proximity cards and planned absence forms/other forms
• Assisting the assistant principal in the communication and administration of behavioral expectations
• Coordinating student parking applications, permits and reports 
• Supervising students doing work-study in the assistant principal’s office
• Collecting, maintaining and updating health records for all students in accordance with Health Department regulations 
• Participating in the emergency planning team
• Executing emergency planning tasks and procedures
• Ensuring that first aid supplies and emergency kits are in place and current
• Tracking certifications of staff for first aid and CPR, ensuring that certifications stay current

• Collaborate with the coaching staff to choreograph routines for competitions, pep rallies, and other events.

• Support the head coach in administrative tasks such as organizing tryouts, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing team budgets.
