A New Chapter Begins: Class of 2030 Joins the Ursuline Legacy

On Wednesday, September 16, the Ursuline Academy Class of 2030 officially became part of the Ursuline legacy during their Freshman Induction Ceremony.

The evening began with a beautiful prayer service and reflections from Cortesia House Captain Graceyn Corsi ’27 and Servizio House Captain Ashlynn O’Donnell ’27. They shared what it means to be an Ursuline student and reminded the freshmen that their time at UA is about more than four years — it’s about becoming part of a history and community they will carry with them long after graduation.

Each freshman was then called forward to receive her Serviam pin, a symbol of the Ursuline commitment to serve others. Together, the Class of 2030 also sang the school song, celebrating the new sisterhood they are building with their classmates.

The evening concluded in the Tapestry Garden, where each freshman rang the Ursuline bell, marking the beginning of her own Ursuline journey. Four years from now, these same students will return to ring the bell once more — this time as Ursuline alumnae. For the Class of 2030, this was just the beginning of a legacy they will make their own.
