General Information
The office of the Dean of Women strives to implement the philosophy and objectives of Ursuline Academy. In addition, works to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning through the fostering of a Christian educational community.
The responsibilities of the office include, but are not limited to the following:
- Administer the disciplinary system as out lined in the student handbook
- Develop daily schedules
- Supervise student areas including the parking lot
- Coordinate the 1818 Advanced College Credit Program
- Collect and maintain student health records in accordance with the County Health Department
- Administer the work study program
- Inform parents of excessive absences or tardies
- Administer student and faculty parking
- Oversee the development and implementation of an emergency preparedness plan with the assistance of the plant manager.
The Dean of Women supervises the Academy in the absence of the Principal.
