Student Council - STUCO

Purpose

The Ursuline Academy Student Council is established as the student body government which shall act as a liaison between the administration, faculty, and the student body, facilitating communications, student involvement, and school unity with the purpose of enhancing school spirit and providing varied opportunities for growth and leadership.

Executive team planning meetings every other Tuesday
 

Activities throughout the year

Spirit Week, Homecoming dance, SPLASH Week, canned food drive, Student Council Retreat, holiday activities, service projects which include sandwiches for St. Vincent DePaul, Ronald McDonald House, needy families at Christmas,school recycling, leadership workshops at UA and district level including Girls State, STUCO Christmas party, teacher appreciation gifts and luncheon, teacher birthday remembrances, student birthday, and lunch treats during the year.

 

How to become a member

Self-nomination, elections are held, officers GPA 2.75, reps GPA 2.25, no more than 1 detention
