Purpose

The Ursuline Academy Student Council is established as the student body government which shall act as a liaison between the administration, faculty and the student body, facilitating communications, student involvement and school unity with the purpose of enhancing school spirit and providing varied opportunities for growth and leadership.

1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 3:15 p.m.

Executive team planning meetings every other Tuesday

 Activities throughout the year

Planning Spirit Week, putting on the Homecoming dance, organizing SPLASH Week, holding a canned- food drive, participating in Student Council retreat, preparing holiday activities, doing service projects which include making sandwiches for St. Vincent DePaul, serving dinner at Ronald McDonald House, helping needy families at Christmas, taking care of school recycling, holding leadership workshops at UA and on the district level, including Girls State, celebrating together the STUCO Christmas party, celebrating National Principal's Appreciation Day, Dr. Reichardt's birthday, STUCO Installation, providing  teacher appreciation gifts and luncheon, presenting teachers with birthday acknowledgements, honoring  student birthdays and providing lunch treats during the year, and end of the year Student Council Appreciation Dinner.

 How to become a member

Self-nomination; elections are held--officers GPA 2.75; reps GPA 2.25; no more than one detention.
