National Honor Society

Purpose

National Honor Society is a student organization committed to the NHS values of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. NHS supports both the larger community and UA community by promoting and modeling these core values.

Activities throughout the year

Students participate in a variety of activities within and outside the UA community. Past activities include book drives, various collections, and collaboration with W.A.V.E. week. NHS girls also volunteer their time to tutor UA students on a regular basis.

How to become a member

Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.85 to be invited to join NHS. Students must also demonstrate superior character, leadership and service. Students are invited to join in their junior and senior years.
